Shengjin è situata nella regione nord-est dell’ Albania, in cui vivono circa 3000 abitanti. Dal punto di vista amministrativo, Shengjin rientra nella regione di Lezhe.

Fra i luoghi i più interessanti per i turisti che si trovano ai dintorni della città di Shëngjin ci sono Spiaggia Shengjin, distante circa 3 km. Si parla forse della spiaggia più famosa in Albania, in particolare per sua la sabbia di alta qualità.

Il porto di Shengjin, nelle vicinanze della città di Lezha ed è il terzo porto dopo quelli di Durazzo e di Valona. La vicinanza con Tirana e Durazzo rende Shengjin un importante ponte di collegamento per le regioni settentrionali del Paese, ma anche per il Kosovo e Montenegro.

Shengjin è una delle spiaggie più frequentate in Albania, per la sabbia con elevato contenuto di iodio di valore curativo per molte malattie. La purezza del acqua del mare, è tra le migliori del paese e non manca l’aria pura. Shengjjin è uno di quei rari luoghi dove mare e montagna si uniscono in un punto. Gli alberghi costruiti nel lungomare, offrono condizioni di vacanza confortevoli e prezzi convenienti per tutte le categorie di turisti.

La vita notturna è molto organizzata. Sono numerosi i bar e i ristoranti che organizzano serate con musica dal vivo con i più celebri cantanti albanesi e non mancano le discoteche e i pub per i più giovani. Il cibo è eccezionale, spicca la varietà dei prodotti di mare abbinata alla cucina tradizionale albanese. I servizi pubblici offerti dal comune sono ottimi. Pushuesit italianë të akomoduar në plazhin e Shëngjinit shprehen mjaft të kënaqur me kushtet e ofruara nga operatorët turistikë. They are tastefully decorated and have laminated floors and modern equipment. The hotels offers a bar as well as a restaurant nicely designed and executed reflecting style and elegance for such structures. The restaurant offers Albanian and Italian specialties. A large space on the ground floor can be used to organize a conference or meeting with 100 persons capacity. Shengjin is a very picturesque clean area, in a very peaceful, quiet location, the nearby historic town of Lezhë which is full of character and history. The complex is situated just 100 meters from the beach which is approximately three kilometers long, with wonderful sea views from the front and mountain views to the rear, this is really an opportunity not to be missed.
